Tree Peony Root-Marvellous (Xuan Hong)

A bold, double-flowered tree peony with rich red blooms and a soft fragrance. Flowers are about 6 inches wide and bloom in mid-spring on upright stems with deep green foliage. The shrub grows to 4–6 feet tall and wide, forming a full, elegant shape.

Plant in morning sun or light shade, in well-drained soil with shelter from strong wind. A great choice for a garden centerpiece or bright border planting.

This listing is for one peony bare root. It is not potted and is not a growing plant. Planting dormant roots in the fall allows the peony plant to grow lots of feeder roots over the cool months to feed lush top growth in the spring.
