A gift shop!

Hello friend. Do you remember last spring when you came to see The Peony Fields? The Fields and the flowers were breathtaking. The slow rambling, the light behind translucent petals, the perfume, all were divine.

When it came time to choose your flowers and gifts and check out, however, the experience didn’t quite match the magic out in the field. Our open air tables with buckets of flowers blooming and tablecloths blowing in the breeze may have been charming, but there were some drawbacks. We tried, but those flowers are a lot to live up to.

Since then we’ve been working on a place to celebrate peony season that matches more closely the experience in the field. And look! It’s beginning to shape up!

Can you see the space? Can you imagine it filled with flowers and gifts?

I’m so excited to have a new place to celebrate peony season with you. But I need your help. What would you like to see in the shop, along with our flowers? I'm trying to find peony-themed or related gifts, home decor, jewelry, personal care items, etc. I'd love to give priority to local craftspeople and artists, so if you know of someone who makes this kind of thing, would you comment and let me know?
